N. Korean prosecutor put on public trial in Hamhung
A North Korean prosecutor arrested in Hamhung, South Hamgyung Province was brought to a public trial. The prosecutor had been reportedly a leader of a gang of robbers by the Songchon River embankment in Hamhung and was found guilty of illegal acts involving robberies and illicit drugs.
The public trial was held on May 5. The Songchon River embankment in the Songchongang District and the area beneath the Yongdae Bridge are typically used for civil trials and sometimes public executions in the proximity. ......
