G7 Criticizes North Koreas Human Rights Violations
On the 8th the G7 countries gathered in Southern Germany to sign a joint declaration statement criticizing North Koreas nuclear and ballistic missile program and pressuring North Korea to improve its human rights conditions.
After the G7 members discussed multiple issues including North Koreas recent kidnappings and human rights violations, a joint declaration criticizing these issues was submitted. The nations in attendance included chairman countries Germany and America as well as France, England, Japan, Italy, and Canada. In the past Russia attended the conference, however, Russia was not invited this year because of their involvement with the annexation of Crimea.
