15 NK High Officials Executed in 2015

15 North Korean high officials were reportedly executed this year.

South Korea's spy agency, National Intelligence Service, revealed the information through a closed-door meeting at the Korean National assembly on April 29.

According to NIS, a vice minister of forestry was executed in January because he complained about the failure of the  reforestation project.

In February, another vice minister of National Economic Planning Ministry was killed because he suggested  an idea  contrary to Kim Jong Uns instruction to change the roof of the Hall of Scientific Technique, which is supposed to have a dome-shaped roof, to a flower-shaped roof. 

In March, four Unhasu Orchestra members were also killed on suspicion of espionage. Unhasu Orchestra is the same orchestra that Ri Sol-ju, Kim Jong Uns wife, used to work as a singer.

South Korean National Assemblymen, who attended the closed-door meeting, stated that Kim Jong Un that Kim considers any suggestions or ideas different from his to be an act of defiance of his authority.
