On the 10th of January, more than five Japanese NGOs, including Human Rights Watch and NO FENCE, visited Chongryon (General Association of North Korean Residents in Japan) to deliver the ICNK's open letter addressed to Kim Jong Un.

More than ten members of ICNK gathered before the Chongryon building and urged them to provide the U.N. Special Rapporteur on human rights in North Korea and other international monitors access to North Korea and to take the historic opportunity to build a new legacy for North Koreans.
