The United Nations Student Association at Tübingen University held a discussion under the title, "The Korean Question: Human Rights and the Future of the DMZ on May 20th.
After an historical and problem-oriented introduction to North and South Korea by Dr. Lee, Ms. Kim and Prof. Kim talked about the future of the demilitarised zone along the 49th parallel. Then the head of Saram, Nicolai Sprekels, reported about the human rights situation in North Korea from the perspective of Saram e.V. and options for action for european NGOs.
Radio Free Asia reported this event to emphasize how European college students concern more about North Korean human rights issue than in the past.
