Seoul Station's Plaza was the location of the opening of the 2nd North Korean Human Rights International Film Festival ran by NKnet. It was attended by a number of famous Korean directors, esteemed ambassadors for the event, and about 400 members of the public.

Lee Jang Ho, a noted Korean filmmaker, said, Spreading the word about North Korean human rights is more important even than the film festival itself. In the same way as the 1st North Korean Human Rights Film Festival came to be held in New York and Washington, wherever and whenever there is the call for North Korean human rights films we will take these films and go there.

The Film Festival began with a screening of Traveler from the North.' It ended with a showing of 'Engaged' on the second screen on Friday night.
