A situation report on the rights of the child in the DPRK which was conducted with an aim of reviewing the children’s rights situation in North Korea, providing assessment of recent improvements or worsening conditions, and analyzing the cause of these changes. An in-depth investigation into children’s rights, including education, health care, international humanitarian aid, issues of child labour, and the military use of children, based upon interviews with 50 defectors from North Korea.
